Why did we just pull up and not land? (Go-Around)

Short answer: The runway wasn't perfect, so we are being safe.

A 'Go-Around' is a standard safety maneuver, not an emergency. It simply means we decided to climb up and try again to ensure a perfect landing. It happens 1-3 times every 1,000 flights.
