Turbulence

Is turbulence dangerous?

Short answer: Uncomfortable, but never dangerous to the plane.

Turbulence cannot flip a plane or break a wing. The structure is built to withstand forces far greater than any storm can produce. The plane rides over the bumps just like a boat rides over waves.
