LandingWhat If?

What if the landing gear gets stuck?

Short answer: Gravity will pull it down for us.

If the hydraulics fail, we pull a manual 'gravity extension' handle. This releases the locks, and gravity pulls the heavy gear down while the wind locks it into place. We don't need engine power to lower the wheels.
