What if the plane stalls?

Short answer: The plane won't let us stall.

Modern jets have 'Alpha Floor' protection (Airbus) or 'Stick Pushers' (Boeing). If we get too slow, the computer automatically adds power and lowers the nose to regain airspeed, overriding the pilot if necessary.
