What if we run out of fuel while circling?
Short answer: Legally impossible; we have protected reserves.
We cannot take off without 'Final Reserve' fuel—enough to fly an extra 30-45 minutes *after* reaching our alternate airport. We are required by law to divert to a new airport long before we ever touch that safety buffer.
